Program, February 21 – 25, 2022
Mon, February 21: Bakery Voland & Blockfeld Boulder
Today we look behind the scenes of the bakery Voland. During a tour we get an insight into the craft of the bakers and confectioners. Afterwards, we are allowed to work on our own dough. We also create a special snack ourselves..mmh! In the afternoon we take the train to Winterthur, where we try our hand at bouldering (climbing close to the ground) and enjoy our homemade snack.
Tue, February 22: Beyer Watch Museum & Boda Borg & Flip Lab
On a guided tour of the Beyer Watch Museum in Zurich, we can marvel at the collection of 300 watches and learn interesting facts about the history of time measurement and the art of making them. Afterwards, a search game will show us very special unique watches. In the afternoon, all children from 7 to 13 years of age can search for treasure islands, explore mummy tombs or break out of a prison in the Boda Borg adventure missions. Solving puzzles always opens doors to new experiences! Children from 5-6 years will also get their money’s worth in the Flip Lab trampoline hall across the street.
Wed, February 23: Museum of Transport in Lucerne
We spend an exciting day at the Museum of Transport in Lucerne and can marvel at the numerous exhibitions about the different means of transport in small groups. The exhibition “Experience Logistics!” takes us on an impressive journey of a banana from the farmer in Costa Rica to the shelf in the supermarket in Switzerland. And in the film theatre we can look forward to a 3D show. Of course, there will be plenty of time to play in the large playground arena or to visit Media World with its TV studio and virtual reality glasses.
Thu, February 24: Rolling Rock
It’s action time today! We can really let off steam at the Rolling Rock Skate & Sport Centre’s large indoor and outdoor skate facility. We’ll rent a skateboard, freestyle scooter, rollerblades or a BMX and try our hand at the various courses. No previous experience is necessary, everyone can choose their own rides on the facility. Bouldering, trampolines, table tennis or floorball are also waiting for us…..Pure action!
Fri, February 25: Smilestones & Piratolino
We are visiting the largest covered miniature world in Switzerland! On our interactive tour, we can marvel at the midlands from the Säntis to the Rhine Falls on a scale of 1:87 on an area of about seven tennis courts. Many details will make us smile with 1000 metres of railway lines, 70 trains, 400 cars and 15000 figures! After lunch, a great indoor playground awaits us at Piratolino.
