Programs February 14 – 18, 2022 (Zug)
Mon, February 14: Dolder Ice Rink & Cinema
Today we’ll try our hand at skating on the Dolder artificial ice rink and do our laps….with or without the polar bear. In case of bad weather, we will go to the artificial ice rink in Wetzikon. Each child can bring their own skates or we can hire them. After a delicious lunch, we go to the cinema in the afternoon.
Tue, February 15: Skillspark, Winterthur
Today we experience a day full of action at the Skillspark in Winterthur. In the huge multi-sports hall, every child can try out the different parks as a beginner or as an experienced rider: Skatepark, Big-Air Park, Trampoline Park or the Pump Track guarantee lots of fun. Skateboards, scooters or Like-A-Bikes are available, but anyone who wants to can also bring their own riding equipment. Various rest areas or the indoor playground invite you to relax.
Wed, February 16: Umwelt Arena & Bowling
In the morning, 45 interactive exhibitions on four floors await us in the Environment Arena. We will learn in a vivid way why a sustainable use of the earth’s resources is so important and how young and old can contribute to it. We can see our ecological footprint on the globe and try our hand at football penalty shooting on a recyclable grass carpet. The children’s course with special scooters and go-karts is sure to be fun too. In the afternoon, we will visit the Bowling Centre West and try our luck on the child-friendly lanes!
Thu, February 17: Aeschbach ChocoWorld & Castle Zug
Today we can immerse ourselves in the fascinating world of chocolate. During an interactive tour and a boat trip at the Aeschbach Chocolatier, we will learn all about the history of chocolate and the transport routes of cocoa. Afterwards we can create our own chocolate artwork with nuts, fruits, salty or spicy…mmhh! After lunch we go to Zug, where we discover Zug Castle on our own with the comic character Lili.
Fri, February 18: Zurich Zoo
There is always something new to discover at Zurich Zoo! We visit the Masoala Rainforest, the elephant park, the penguin indoor facility in the aquarium with 8 underwater worlds and of course the new largest facility of the Zurich Zoo: the Lewa Savannah. There we can admire the giraffes, rhinos and zebras as well as the mysterious baobab food trees. Also the information about the protection of the animals and what we ourselves can contribute to their protection is impressive.
