Program Sept. 28 – Oct. 2, 2020 (Lucerne)
Mon, September 28: Animal park Goldau
Today we spend a nature day in the zoo Goldau with more than 100 wild animal species. We take a lot of time to watch the wolves on their high-spirited hunt or the bears as they come to grips with a tree trunk. In the free-running zone we can pamper the Sika deer and mouflon with food cubes and strokes, and we marvel at the climbing skills of the ibex. In the cosy Restaurant Gans we have a delicious lunch, so that we have enough energy to let off steam on the playgrounds afterwards.
Tue, September 29: Glacier Garden & Aeschbach Chocolat
In the morning we explore the Glacier Garden Lucerne with its 20 million years old history. During a guided tour we learn interesting facts about the Ice Age and we visit the new Glacier Museum. In the confusing labyrinth of mirrors we experience fantastic pictures. In the afternoon we immerse ourselves in the world of chocolate. Because at Aeschbach Chocolatier we learn all about the transport routes of cocoa during an interactive tour and a boat trip and afterwards we can create our own chocolate artwork…mmhh!
Wed, September 30: Foxtrail Lucerne & Cinema
An exciting scavenger hunt takes us this morning through the city of Lucerne to many great places and with a great panoramic drive. We simply follow the fox tracks across the famous wooden bridge and right through the old town until we have solved the various riddles and are on the track of the fox. In the afternoon we treat ourselves to a funny movie in the cinema – popcorn included.
Thu, October 1: Tropical House Wolhusen & Bowling
In the morning we travel to Wolhusen and experience very special insights into a unique plant world in the tropical house. We learn about tropical fruits and spices, their cultivation and their origin. The insect culture project also offers a unique interactive world of experience and shows us the importance of nature conservation, biodiversity and natural cycles. In the afternoon we try our hand at bowling on tracks suitable for children.
Fri, October 2: National Museum Zurich & Flip Lab
During our guided tour through the National Museum at Zurich we travel into the past and visit the current exhibition “With flying carpet through history”. Here we not only hear exciting stories about the Orient, shipping and the railway. We experience an Arabian palace up close, stand on the deck of a large sailing ship and sit down in an old railway compartment with many exciting activities. In the afternoon we let off steam in the trampoline hall Flip Lab.
