Basel Zoo

At Basel Zoo, we can discover and observe more than 500 animals from all over the world in the beautiful park setting! We get up close and personal with the animals, get to watch the sea lions and pelicans being fed, and learn fascinating facts about their habitats. The antelope house with its giraffes and the monkey house also offer unique encounters with nature. Of course, there’s plenty of time left for fun and games on the playground, as well as a delicious lunch and some ice cream.
